Secure Way Insurance Agency(“we,” “us” or “our”) is an excess and surplus lines transportation insurance agency based in Arizona. We work with wholesale producers, retail agents and insureds. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and in the course of providing insurance services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Prepare quotes, submit risks to markets, and bind, issue and service policies
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer service
  • Request additional underwriting information and documents or signatures needed to complete a submission
  • Issue certificates of insurance and process endorsements, renewals and cancellations
  • Process payments and administer billing
  • Assist with claims reporting and follow-up
  • Send account-related text messages if you have opted in to receive them
  • Maintain our records, operate our business, and comply with applicable legal, regulatory and licensing obligations

Mobile Information and Text Messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We send text messages only to individuals who have opted in to receive them. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchasing any product or service, and you may withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to any message. Sharing With Carriers, Underwriters and Service Providers

As an insurance agency, placing coverage requires us to share your information with others. We may share the information described above with:

  • Insurance carriers, managing general agents, program managers, underwriters and wholesale or retail brokers, for the purpose of quoting, binding, issuing and servicing coverage
  • Third-party administrators, claims adjusters and inspection or loss-control vendors involved in your policy or claim
  • Premium finance companies and payment processors, when you finance or pay a premium
  • Service providers and subcontractors who perform functions on our behalf, such as customer service, document delivery, email delivery, hosting and information technology support, and who are permitted to use the information only to perform those functions for us
  • Regulators, law enforcement or other parties where we are required or permitted to do so by law, or to establish or defend legal claims

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide our services and to satisfy the legal, regulatory, tax, accounting and recordkeeping obligations that apply to insurance agencies, and to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Records of text messaging consent, including the date, time and disclosure text shown at the time consent was given, are retained for as long as we may need to demonstrate that consent. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold against loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure or alteration. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information to us by unencrypted email.
